FY Results – Shoprite’s RSA Supermarkets business grew +17.8%, taking market share (140 basis points). Non-RSA supermarkets +16.4% in ZAR (9.6% in constant currency). Checkers, Sixty60 +81.5%. Low LSM brands Shoprite & Usave +15.6%. Diesel costs from loadshedding was R1.3 bn. HEPS +9.6%. Dividend +10.5% to 415c. Insurance costs rose to R185m due 2021’s social unrest.
