BHP Group

BHP and Lundin Mining completed the acquisition of Filo Corp. and formed a 50/50 joint venture, Vicuña Corp., to develop the Filo del Sol and Josemaria copper projects in Argentina and Chile. BHP paid $2 bn for the transaction, including $1.4 bn for its share of Filo Corp. and $690 m for a 50% stake in the Josemaria project.
